This field is used to display various types of charts to visualize data without syncing to a PowerBI report. All charts require a target to return data that will be displayed on the chart.
Charts can have a search component attached to it to provide greater flexibility in terms of displaying data. Learn more about available search components here.

- Chart Type – A dropdown list that contains a list of charts that can be used.
- Axis Type – A dropdown list that determines if the axis of the chart are numerical or categorical.
- Category Axis Type – Only available when Axis Type is Categorical. Determines what type of data will be on the axis.
- Category Title – Only available when Axis Type is Categorical. Determines the title on the Category Axis.
- Value Title – Only available when the Axis Type is Categorical. Determines the title on the Value Axis.
- Category Format – Only available when Axis Type is Categorical. Determines the formatting of data on the Category Axis.
- Value Format – Only available when Axis Type is Categorical. Determines the formatting of data on the Value Axis.
- X Axis Type – Only available when the Axis Type is Numerical. Determines what type of data will be on the X Axis.
- Y Axis Type – Only available when the Axis Type is Numerical. Determines what type of data will be on the Y Axis.
- X Axis Title– Only available when the Axis Type is Numerical. Determines what the title will be on the X Axis.
- Y Axis Title– Only available when the Axis Type is Numerical. Determines what the title will be on the Y Axis.
- X Axis Format– Only available when the Axis Type is Numerical. Determines what the formatting of data will be on the X Axis.
- Y Axis Format– Only available when the Axis Type is Numerical. Determines what the formatting of data will be on the Y Axis.
- Title – The title that will be displayed above the chart.
- Legend Position – Determines where the legend will be displayed in relation to the chart.
- Where do we get the data for this control? – The target that will be called to return the data for the chart.
- Add Search Component? – Contains a list of compounds that can be used as a search component. This field is optional.
- Enable Chart Tooltips – Determines if tooltips will be enabled on the chart. Tooltips are displayed when you hover over a data point on the chart and specific detailed information about that point will be displayed.
- Enable Data Auto Refreshing -Determines if the data will refresh automatically after a specified period of time.
- How often should the data auto refresh– Determines how often the data will be automatically refreshed. Only available if Enable Data Auto Refreshing is Yes.
