Compound Field

The Compound Field is used to display a the selected compound defined at the functionality level. At the functionality level, compound fields are used to combine multiple fields into a specific layout, linking them together as a single field. These can be displayed on a form using the Compound Field type.

An example of a Compound Field would be an Address. Depending on business needs, geographical location, and other factors, the information that makes up an address will vary business to business. In this case, a Compound Field would be useful for assembling the exact address components needed, automatically combining them into a single field.

Compound Type

This drop down menu displays the available compound fields set at the functionality level. The compound type selected will be displayed on the form.

Compounds can be added or modified at the functionality level.
