Fields – GUID Load On Demand

The GUID Load On Demand field displays a list of options in a drop down combo box that is loaded as the user types in the field. The users input will be used in a target call to filter down the results and display them in the combo box.

Here is an example of the Field Definition:

Below are the fields and their purpose:

  • Where do we get the data for this control – Contains the target information that will be called that will return results that are filtered based on the input the user entered.
  • Add Jump Button – Determines if a jump button will be rendered once a selection has been made.
  • Jump Button Label – Allows you to specify the text displayed on the jump button, if left blank the text will default to GoTo.
  • Open jump instance in popup – Determines if when the jump button is selected if the instance will open in a popup window or not.
