ITIL Service Operation

Purpose

This application allows you to define your system architecture; including the servers, applications, and data flows; in order to help you monitor your system dependencies and backups, and recreate or upgrade your system if needed.

Benefits

  • Create a complete picture of your system architecture – Define the whole system, including the different types of devices and servers, the applications and databases that store and process the information, and the networks the information travels over.
  • Monitor your data flows – Track how information moves through your system, and ensure that data that should be encrypted is never passed over an unsecure network.
  • Manage changes – Defining each step in a change lets you double-check that all connections are re-initiated when one part of your system is upgraded, and helps you to progress smoothly through your changes without skipping steps or second-guessing.

Features

  • Track your devices, applications, and more so you can update or replace components where necessary
  • Record incidents and problems with your system
  • Process requests and changes
  • Monitor dependencies and impacts
