Move

The Move component is used to move the current instance from its current parent to a new parent that supports this child type.

It requires a MyInstance parameter and is used within the CBModalWindow component.

Within the window there are three options for moving the instance:

  1. Move to workspace
  2. Move to peer functionality
  3. Move anywhere functionality

Moving to the workspace will move the instance up to the workspace level. Moving to peer functionality allows you to move the instance to another functionality within the same application. Move anywhere allows you to move the instance to another functionality anywhere in the solution (including another application).

This component can be opened from the GenericActions dropdown menu on the CommandBar.
