Enable service principal to use Power BI APIs

Select your workspace

Open the settings for the workspace, then navigate to the Admin portal

Modifying the Tenant settings

Visit https://app.powerbi.com/home, select Workspaces and select the target Power BI workspace you’d like to configure. Once in the target workspace, select the gears icon in the top right corner followed by clicking Admin portal. Furthermore, select Tenant settings, scroll down to Developer settings, and expand the Allow service principals to use Power BI APIs drop down and ensure this feature has been Enabled. Finally, select Specific security groups (Recommended) under Apply to, followed by selecting the security group you defined in part 2 and click Apply.

Adding yout application to the access

Visit https://app.powerbi.com/home, select Workspaces and select the target Power BI workspace you’d like to configure. Once in the target workspace, select the Access link at the top right, search for the Application Name you defined in part 1 and click Add.
