Dictionaries are used to provide lists of words or phrases that are used by String Dictionary controls in the user experience. The Dictionaries are maintained as data within the Functionality, stored in the Configuration Sets tab.
The purpose of the String Dictionary user experience is to guide the user in selecting from a set of previously allowed words or phrases. The user is free to add new words or phrases to the dictionary as needed.
An administrator can edit the words and phrases in each dictionary directly through the dictionary control where it is used on a form, or through the specific dictionaries in this tab.
